Robinia
Every product is one of a kind: Playground equipment made from Robinia
In many of our projects and playground equipment, we use increasingly naturally-grown Robinia, one of the hardest woods in Europe.
Natural form meets extreme durability
Robinia has an artistic, natural colour and grain and is highly weather-resistant. It is the only European wood in Resistance Class 1, with a service life of up to 30 years. All robinia wood is sapwood-free and is delivered exclusively peeled, sanded and glazed.
Robinia found primarily in Eastern Europe. As with our domestic Douglas fir, we ensure that we use only FSC-certified wood and adhere to the principles of sustainability.
Specifications
Beveled ends
They prevent water from seeping into the tops of the posts and also enhance the appearance.
Countersunk screw connections
To ensure safety and stability, all system-related screw connections are countersunk. The drill holes are secured with polypropylene caps.
Optional post bases
Direct ground reinforcement with Robinia is not problematic; however, if desired, the support posts can be fitted with steel post shoes.
